"HENRY V" ORIGINAL BROADWAY THEATRE POSTER WITH PAUL DAVIS ART.
1976.
A BRILLIANT CLASSIC POSTER OF ACTOR PAUL RUDD BY ONE OF BROADWAY'S GREATEST POSTER ARTISTS PAUL DAVIS FOR THE NEW YORK SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL'S "HENRY V" BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE.  IT WAS PERFORMED FREE OF CHARGE IN CENTRAL PARK'S DELACORTE THEATRE IN THE SUMMER OF 1976. IT STARRED A FIERY UP AND COMING YOUNG  ACTOR NAMED PAUL RUDD (WHO SHORTLY THEREAFTER DISAPPEARED FROM A POTENTIALLY SUCCESSFUL CAREER IN THEATRE, MOVIES, AND TV.  NOT THE PAUL RUDD FROM "PARKS AND RECREATION", ETC!) AND AN UP AND COMING YOUNG RELATIVELY UNKNOWN ACTRESS MERYL STREEP, WHO WAS TOPPING A METEORIC FIRST NEW YORK THEATRE SEASON AS KATHERINE.  IT  MEASURES A LARGE 30 X 46 AND IS ROLLED AND IN EXCELLENT/MINT CONDITION AND HAS NEVER BEEN USED.  THIS IS NOT A REPRODUCTION OR REPRINT
.  IT IS NOT PRINTED ON HEAVY CARDBOARD STOCK, BUT A THIN GLOSSY PAPER, WHICH WAS THE NYSF'S CUSTOM FOR THEIR FAMOUS SUMMER PRODUCTIONS AT THE TIME.  THIS AND THE FACT THAT IT IS FROM A SUMMER CENTRAL PARK PRODUCTION THAT NEVER TRANSFERED TO BROADWAY ONLY ADDS TO IT'S RARITY AND COLLECTIBILITY.   THE PRODUCTION WAS ONE OF THE FEW DIRECTED BY JOSEPH PAPP, THE NEW YORK PUBLIC THEATRE'S FOUNDING DIRECTOR.   MR. DAVIS  CAPTURES MR RUDD'S YOUNG KING HENRY  WITH AN INTENSE AGGRESSIVE YOUTHFUL EXPRESSION. Hello.  By way of introduction and for your information, I am TMQPOSTERS.
Everything that you will see on my EBay Selling List is from my personal private collection.  I started collecting NEW and VINTAGE ORIGINAL MOVIE POSTERS (especially GONE WITH THE WIND,  STAR WARS,
all SPIELBERG, DISNEY, ACADEMY AWARD WINNERS, BATMAN, LORD OF THE RINGS, HARRY POTTER, BROADWAY,
CLASSIC,
CULT, CAMP, TRASH, ETC!!!) since I was a 27 year old in 1976 when I moved and lived in NYC.
All the posters (even the originally folded ones) have been rolled in tubes and stored in a temperature controlled environment from the time I purchased each one.
Needless to say, it is a diverse and eclectic collection of over 650 POSTERS.   I also collected ANIMATION ART, specifically ORIGINAL DISNEY HAND PAINTED PRODUCTION BACKGROUND PAINTINGS that went under camera in the filming of Disney movies.  I will not knowingly misrepresent the pieces I put on EBay.
All the photographs you see of my posters and art are ones that I have taken, not downloaded from other online sites. I will gladly answer all questions, discuss shipping, etc.
Oh btw. My prices will not go down…just the opposite.
