    Description

A round ring with deep cuts all over the inner edge of the ring. These are extremely rare and not seen very often. Light greenish - brown patina. 32 mm, 4.2grams, bronze. Danube area. Rare : this cute little ring would make a perfect authentic ancient Celtic pendant e the introduction of struck coinage in Celtic lands, Celtic ring money(gold, silver and bronze rings), celtic arrowhead and bell money were used as currency in Celtic lands in Danube area, France, England and Ireland. Sometimes these rings took a pretty elaborate shape (such as"wheel money" in Gaul, star-shaped rings, interlinked rings etc.) and are very interesting collectible items, that can also be used as wonderful pendants or finger rings. An inexpensive way to touch the magical Celtic past.
