    Description

    This is the first of two gorgeous Georgian Vauxhall glass nodder trembler hair pins that I am listing. This one is a butterfly with red mirrored glass wings and body and tiny red glass eyes.The glass is hard to photo but the color is a deep garnet red which shows lighter as the light hits it. It is 5 inches long and the spring allows the butterfly to move. The metal looks like brass. It was made during late Victorian or Georgian times. In an area of London that used to be called Vauxhall.....It would look awesome tucked into a bouquet, a hairdo or a hat!
